Dr. David Pfaff

David Pfaff, PhD, LPC-S

Adjunct Professor

Dr. Pfaff joined the mental health profession in 2013 and has served as an educator, clinician, clinical supervisor, and advocate. As a counselor educator, Dr. Pfaff currently serves on the core faculty at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and works as adjunct faculty at Seton Hall University and Oklahoma City University.

Dr. Pfaff has also contributed to scholarship by authoring book chapters on such topics as attachment, acceptance and commitment therapy, the transtheoretical model, and insight-oriented therapies. Dr Pfaff is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Oklahoma and Texas, Clinical Supervisor, and CEU provider. His clinical experience includes practice and supervision within agency settings, community mental health, drug courts, acute inpatient practice, and now private practice. Dr. Pfaff is also an advocate for mental health and wellness, and has participated in podcasts, interviews, and discussion panels, and given lectures locally and nationally.

Dr Pfaff received his PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of the Cumberlands, MEd in Applied Behavioral Studies/Licensed Professional Counseling from Oklahoma City University, and BA in Anthropology from the University of Oklahoma
