Vanessa Wright, PhD, MSN, RN

Chair of Graduate Education & Associate Professor

Dr. Vanessa Wright is a full-time faculty member at Kramer School of Nursing, teaching students in both the undergraduate and graduate programs. Her clinical practice areas included Emergency Nursing, Medical-Surgical, and House Supervisor. She has been a nursing educator since 2012 and is passionate about producing nursing research grounded in Watson’s Theory of Human Caring and Unitary Caring Science. As a Watson Caring Science Postdoctoral Scholar, she recently accepted the position of the lead Principal Investigator for a national research project through Watson Caring Science Institute and the DAISY Foundation.
